Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse - Nixa, Missouri

Category Nursing - RN-Tele Job Type Travel This opportunity is for a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiac Telemetry, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. Located in Nixa, MO, this travel position offers a 13-week assignment with flexible guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 per week, working the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Candidates must be comfortable floating on a rotational basis and prepared to contribute to a 32-bed unit that focuses on cardiac and medical-surgical care.

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient conditions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize patient comfort. Utilize nursing skills in medication titration and monitor cardiac telemetry patients. Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional accountability consistent with nursing standards and facility policies. Support unit functions by using equipment such as Alaris infusion pumps, telemetry monitors, and patient lifts. Adhere to safety protocols including mandatory flu vaccination or approved exemption during designated months.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Current RN license eligible for Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri. Minimum of 1 year cardiac telemetry inpatient experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA). Prefer Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from

AHA. NIH

Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required prior to assignment start. Ability to perform 4 trauma credits within two weeks from the start date if not already completed. Competence in drug titration and patient care in a cardiac setting.

Night shift orientation occurs on day shift; availability for full orientation week is required. Weekend coverage as required by the unit.
