1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level 3 NICU position requiring Cerner proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of NICU experience. Details Level 3 NICU in a hospital setting, including attendance at high-risk deliveries Patient population includes neonates 29-34 weeks and neonates greater than 34 weeks gestation Required skills include blood glucose monitoring, hyperbilirubinemia management, insulin administration, and phototherapy Required respiratory skills include endotracheal tube suctioning, HFNC, respiratory distress syndrome management, tracheostomy management, and ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP) Preferred skills include administration of emergency medications such as surfactants Cerner EMR experience is required — no exceptions Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45-07:15) Every third weekend required 13-week contract Requirements Active RN license in MO or a Compact state required Current BLS and NRP certifications required; NRP Advanced and PALS preferred Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required Level 3 NICU experience required Cerner EMR experience required — no exceptions Two professional references required for consideration Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration Additional Information Scrubs are provided by the facility Local candidates are accepted at the same rate — no radius restriction applies First-time travelers will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
