1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU/Outpatient Procedure Hall position requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and MO or compact RN license. Details Outpatient Procedure Hall/PACU setting in a hospital environment Patient population includes pre/post surgical patients and outpatients receiving infusions and injections Patient ratio of 1:3 Procedures include IV maintenance, IV infusions, IM/SubQ injections, and small surgical procedures
EMR:
Epic 13-week contract Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts; shift start time is either 6:00 AM-4:00 PM (early surgery schedule) or 7:00 AM-5:00 PM Requirements Active MO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand Required certifications:
BLS, ACLS, NIH
Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and PALS Minimum of 3 years of RN experience required PACU or perioperative nursing experience required Epic EMR experience Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration Two professional references required for consideration Additional Information Responsibilities include caring for pre/post surgical patients and administering IV infusions and IM/SubQ injections for outpatients First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates are accepted for this position
