The RN Outpatient performs patient assessment and follows established standards and practices for nursing care. May delegate responsibilities and provide clinical oversight to other unlicensed nursing staff. May be required to work in other areas according to skill of staff and acuity of patients.   • Must demonstrate precise eye/hand coordination and fine motor skills for IV procedures and ability to give injections, administer medications, change dressings, perform blood pressure checks, and assist with medical procedures; answer phone, data entry.
  • Ability to communicate clearly to patients, providers and staff. Interpersonal Skills
  • Displays a friendly, positive attitude and communicates with patients, families, physicians and co-workers in a professional manner.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and written. Essential Physical Requirements
  • Must walk, move, kneel, crouch, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull, and lift, speak clearly.

  • Ability to collect thorough information regarding patient's condition and evaluate effects of care.

  • Ability to visually assess patient condition; must be able to communicate with patient in order to assess condition and evaluate effects of care.
