Surgery Center Registered Nurse 5202 Faraon Street, Saint Joseph, MO 64506 From $35 an hour - Full-time From $35 an hour - Full-time Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and have the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and providing high-quality nursing care to patients across various settings. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status, including vital signs and medical history. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and needs. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including injections and pain management therapies. Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding their conditions and treatment options. Assist with discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition for patients leaving the healthcare facility. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and coordinate care. Perform sterile processing of medical instruments as required. Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records. Experience Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice and in good standing. Experience in ambulatory care setting preferred. Proficiency in medical documentation practices. Strong skills in patient care, including the ability to multitask, when necessary. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality. Knowledge of sterile processing techniques is a plus. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
