Oncology Nurse Navigator - Mercy South Sindelar Cancer Center As an Oncology Nurse Navigator, you'll be the guiding force for patients throughout their cancer journey. This advanced nursing role combines clinical expertise with compassionate coordination, ensuring every patient receives seamless, personalized care. You'll collaborate closely with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to connect resources, streamline treatment plans, and provide unwavering support from diagnosis through survivorship. Position Details:
Nurse Navigator -
Oncology Mercy South Sindelar Cancer Center Minimum Qualifications:
Education :
Graduate from an approved school of nursing
Experience :
2 years related experience
Licensure :
RN (Registered nurse) licensed in state of practice Certification (s): BLS (Basic Life Support) is required within 30 days of hire is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education :
Bachelor of Science Nursing Experience :
3 years in an oncology setting is preferred. Formal patient education and community educational presentations Support group facilitation Certification(s): Certification in Oncology Nursing or Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification Why Mercy?
