Springfield, NJ. Onsite (first 90 days), then Hybrid (local)
Schedule:
Mon-Fri, 9 AM•5 PM or 8:30 AM•4:30
PM Salary:
$68k•$70k (Negotiable) About Us Join the benefits arm of a local union, coordinating healthcare benefits for members. We're seeking a Precerfication Nurse RN to manage the insurance precertification process, ensuring timely approvals for healthcare services. This is a desk-based role with a stable schedule—no overtime or weekends.
Key Responsibilities Precertification Management:
Review and submit precertification requests to insurance companies. Coordinate healthcare benefit cases, ensuring timely treatment approvals. Communicate with providers, insurance companies, and members to facilitate approvals. Maintain organized records, ensuring compliance. Help streamline workflows for case management processes. Educate and support union members on benefits and the precertification process. Qualifications Active RN license 2+ years of nursing experience (case management, utilization review, or insurance-related roles preferred). Strong understanding of healthcare systems and insurance precertification. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Proficient in healthcare management software and office tools.
