Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ICU Job Type Travel Embark on your next nursing adventure in Wentzville, MO—a charming Midwest destination with scenic charm and welcoming communities. This travel assignment invites experienced ICU RNs to make a meaningful impact in a 19-bed critical care department. Gain exposure to diverse workplace practices, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and strengthen your nursing expertise in an advanced, state-of-the-art setting. Expand your resume as you adapt to new protocols, learn new documentation systems (EPIC), and develop leadership skills while working with innovative care models.
Schedule/Hours:
Night shifts 36 hours/week (3x12) Block scheduling options (upon request) Weekend hours as needed No call requirements
Qualifications:
Current RN licensure with Missouri State Board of Nursing (or valid temporary work permit) 2+ years of ICU nursing experience
Certifications:
BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association) Ability to float to Med Surg and Tele units Proven expertise in critical care, post-stroke care, titrating cardiac drips (Nitro, Cardizem, Amio, Esmolol), Bipaps, Airvos, and ventilated compressors Skilled at recognizing and managing deteriorating patients Team-oriented, self-starting, and adaptable personality Must meet facility's professional attire guidelines (black scrubs; no hoodies)
Preferred Experience:
Proficiency in medical calculations
Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional care to a range of critical care, post-stroke, and neuro patients Administer and titrate cardiac drips and manage respiratory devices Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to achieve positive patient outcomes Document patient care using
EPIC EMR
