Job Description

Immediate opening for Registered Nurse - Endoscopy/Gastroenterology to support Keesler Air Force Base, MS.
Qualifications:
Education :
Shall be a graduate from a baccalaureate degree (BSN) program in nursing accredited by a national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the US Department of Education.
Licensure/Certification/Registration :
Possess a current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice medicine in any one of the fifty States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Experience :
A minimum of 2 years experience as a clinical nurse in the medical/surgical or critical care inpatient setting and 1 year of perioperative and/or gastroenterology nursing experience within previous 5 years is required. Duties include but are not limited to : Assist with manometries, pill cam and other endoscopic procedures. Prepare and clean endoscopic equipment. Assist the nurse with patient education of endoscopic procedures focusing on technical applications and procedure preparation.
