Primary Responsibilities of the Staff Nurse Provide safe, accurate medical treatment and administer medications in accordance with physician orders, state regulations, and applicable nursing board guidelines for assisted living Deliver world-class care and service while remaining flexible, adaptable, and responsive to resident needs Support residents through memory and performance improvement programs as part of a holistic care approach Work independently with minimal supervision while effectively collaborating with interdisciplinary teams Organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks efficiently, ensuring clear documentation and timely follow-through on assignments Serve as Charge Nurse during assigned shifts, providing guidance and oversight to Personal Assistants under the direction of the Wellness Leadership team Communicate effectively with leadership, physicians, residents, and families to support continuity of care and positive outcomes Respond promptly and appropriately to resident incidents, emergencies, and changes in condition, following emergency protocols and incident reporting procedures Ensure compliance with all safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards, promoting a safe and supportive environment for residents and team members Participate in ongoing training, meetings, and quality improvement initiatives to support professional growth and community excellence Requirements Education & Experience A caring heart and genuine desire to serve others Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the state Current CPR certification required Assisted Living or Long-Term Care experience preferred Current First Aid certification preferred Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and attention to detail Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays We are an Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
