INFECTION PREVENTIONIST/WOUND NURSE

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Infection Preventionist/Wound Nurse to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor, track, and report infections within the facility Ensure compliance with state and federal infection control regulations Provide staff education on infection prevention practices Oversee wound care program, including assessments and treatments Perform regular skin rounds and ensure proper documentation Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team for optimal resident outcomes Conduct audits and lead quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

Active nursing license (RN required) Experience in long-term care preferred Wound care and infection control experience strongly preferred Knowledge of current standards, guidelines, and best practices Strong organizational and communication skills
