Job Description If Registered Nurse applicant (RN):
Job Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the physician(s) in the clinic, this position provides professional nursing care to all patient populations. Works with team members and providers to ensure efficient, quality patient outcomes throughout the continuum of care.
Required Education:
Graduate of an accredited state approved, school of nursing.
Required Licensure:
Current MS RN license or temporary permit for same (valid for 90 days only), or Compact license.
Experience:
None.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:
Standard nursing principles, practices, and procedures. Ability to interpret physicians' instructions. Use and operation of equipment and instruments used in patient care. Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to educate patients. If Licensed Practical Nurse applicant (LPN):
Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Provider(s) in the clinic, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for assisting with patient care services as delegated or assigned; and will function within the scope of practice according to the Mississippi State Board of Nursing. The LPN collaborates with all clinical staff, patients, and their families.
Education :
Graduate of an accredited LPN program or completion of requirements for licensure.
Licensure :
Current MS license or temporary permit for same.
