RN Staff Development Coordinator / Infection Preventionist Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Day Shift Join Our Team! We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our leadership team as our Staff Development Coordinator/Infection Preventionist . This is a full-time Monday through Friday position offering a stable schedule, competitive pay, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on resident care and employee development. Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee orientation for all new employees. Plan, conduct, and document staff education and competency training. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company training requirements. Develop and implement the facility's Infection Prevention and Control Program. Conduct infection surveillance, investigations, and reporting. Educate staff on infection prevention practices and regulatory requirements. Monitor quality indicators and participate in QAPI activities. Assist with survey readiness and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with nursing leadership to promote clinical excellence. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Long-term care experience preferred. Infection Prevention and/or Staff Development experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to educate and motivate staff while promoting a culture of quality and safety.
