Job Title:
LPN/RN (Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse)

Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated LPNs and RNs to join our urgent care team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, addressing a wide range of medical conditions. As part of our collaborative healthcare team, you will play a key role in assessing, monitoring, and treating patients with both acute and urgent medical needs.
Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Assess, monitor, and document patients' medical histories, vital signs, and symptoms to determine care needs. Perform initial assessments, triage patients, and prioritize care.
Clinical Support:
Administer medications, immunizations, injections, and treatments as prescribed. Perform diagnostic tests (e.g., EKGs, blood draws, urinalysis, X-rays) and provide wound care, suturing, and minor injury management.
Collaboration:
Work with physicians, RNs, MA's and LPNs to develop and implement patient care plans. Assist in patient exams, procedures, and patient education.
Emergency Response:
Provide life-saving interventions and respond promptly to medical emergencies. Triage critical cases and escalate issues as needed.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Patient Education:
Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, preventive care, and lifestyle changes.
Operational Support:
Maintain a clean and safe environment, ensuring proper sterilization of equipment and the availability of medical supplies. Assist in managing patient flow during busy hours.
Team Spirit:
Demonstrate a friendly, positive attitude in all interactions with patients and colleagues. Contribute to a supportive, welcoming atmosphere within the clinic.
Requirements:
LPN Candidates:
Valid LPN license in the state of employment. CPR and First Aid certification required. Prior experience in urgent care or fast-paced healthcare settings is a plus.
RN Candidates:
Valid RN license in the state of employment. CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (or willingness to obtain). Prior experience in urgent care, emergency departments, or similar settings is preferred. Strong clinical skills and the ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments. Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team and maintain a patient-first attitude at all times.
