Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment with flexible shifts available
Qualifications & Experience:
Current RN license (as required by state) Experience in rehab and/or long-term care preferred Strong communication and assessment skills Commitment to patient and employee safety, including safe patient handling and infection control Team-oriented with a resourceful, positive attitude Previous travel nursing experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission Develop individualized care plans and identify teaching needs Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for initial and weekly care conferences Consistently document patient assessments, interventions, and responses Deliver direct and comprehensive care, prioritizing patient and family education Initiate and guide discharge planning from day one Facilitate smooth transition of care through clear communication with colleagues Supervise and mentor ancillary staff; delegate tasks appropriately Actively participate in unit-based team building and training Ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
