Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to determine individual needs. Administer medications and injections accurately following established protocols and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety. Manage complex medical procedures such as IV infusions. Document all patient interactions meticulously to ensure compliance and continuity of care. Respond promptly to emergency situations. Qualifications Valid nursing license with current registration in the applicable state or region. Proven experience in multiple clinical environments including hospital medicine, ICU (Intensive Care Unit), emergency medicine, or post-acute care settings such as hospice or long-term care facilities. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and diagnostic evaluation procedures. Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner for accurate medical documentation. Skilled in performing invasive procedures such as phlebotomy, venipuncture, tube feeding management, and sterile processing techniques. Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations including children (pediatrics), seniors (geriatrics), individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care needs. Critical thinking skills complemented by experience in triage, acute pain management, infection control protocols, and case management strategies. Certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and specialized training in dialysis or ostomy care are highly desirable. $36.84 - $44.36 per hour
