Med-Surg Nurse (RN) - Starkville, MS

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years MS RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Experienced registered nurses are needed for a contract assignment specializing in Medical-Surgical care. This dynamic unit manages a diverse range of patients including medical, orthopedic, general surgery, gastrointestinal, telemetry, and stepdown cases. Nurses will benefit from engaging, fast-paced work and the opportunity to utilize advanced charting skills.

Schedule:

13-week contract Rotating night shifts following two set patterns: Rotation 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Thursday, Friday Rotation 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday Night shifts required

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years' recent experience as a Registered Nurse in a Medical-Surgical setting Valid and current Mississippi RN license BLS certification required Previous EPIC charting system experience is mandatory Proven ability to effectively manage 5-7 patient assignments, often with several total care patients Confidence working in varied, high-acuity situations involving different specialties (e.g., ortho, GIP, stepdown, telemetry, and post-surgical)

Responsibilities:
