Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Surgical Orthopedic Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic acute care team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult orthopedic and medical-surgical patients while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care. Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status. Administer medications, IV therapy, and prescribed treatments. Perform ongoing patient assessments and document care accurately. Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and discharge care. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care. Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans. Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements. Float to other departments within scope of competency based on staffing needs. Participate in on-call assignments if required. RN01 Required Qualifications Active Montana RN License (or Compact RN License if applicable). Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required). Current BLS Certification (AHA). Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills. Previous Medical Surgical and Orthopedic nursing experience.
