Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - Cath Lab Job Type Travel Experience the rugged beauty and friendly atmosphere of Black Eagle, MT—a prime destination for outdoor enthusiasts and those eager to immerse themselves in the charming culture of the American Northwest. As a traveling registered nurse in a state-of-the-art Cath/IR/EP/Vascular Lab, you'll have the unique chance to refine your skills within a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment and broaden your professional acumen by collaborating with leading practitioners. This assignment offers an excellent setting to elevate your practice, contributing to a 2-room lab that performs approximately 9 diverse cases daily using Philips Xray/Xper Hemo equipment and Meditech EMR. You'll encounter a wide range of procedures, including Left and Right Heart Cath/PCI, PM/ICD, Structural Heart interventions, TEE/CVs, and numerous IR specialties such as Ports, PICCs, Peripherals, ESI, Nephrostomy, and G-tubes. Beyond work, Black Eagle's scenic surroundings present endless opportunities to hike, fish, or explore the region's rich local history—turning your travel assignment into a rewarding adventure.
Schedule/Hours:
Call coverage approximately 10-12 days per month
Qualifications:
Active MT or Compact RN license required Current ACLS and BLS certifications Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience Vascular and EP experience highly valued
Responsibilities:
Circulate and monitor a variety of cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures Collaborate effectively with providers, technologists, and team members to ensure optimal patient care Utilize advanced imaging and monitoring equipment, ensuring accuracy and safety Support procedural preparation, recovery, and ongoing patient assessment
