Registered Nurse, You Will:
Support nursing care standards by adhering to existing policies and procedures Attend unit conferences and contribute recommendations for improved resident care through the IDT process Obtain and document comprehensive nursing histories from residents and/or significant others Perform thorough assessments, identify changes in condition, and pursue further evaluation as needed Recognize abnormal diagnostic data, communicate findings to the physician and care team, and integrate information into care planning Contribute to the development of individualized care plans and ensure smooth information transfer between shifts Include residents and their families in setting goals and priorities for care Deliver safe, compassionate, and therapeutic care in alignment with established care plans Supervise nonprofessional personnel and accept accountability for clinical care of assigned residents Evaluate and document residents' responses to care and update care plans accordingly Maintain professional growth through ongoing education, reading, and participation in training opportunities
