Great Falls, Montana We have partnered closely with a prominent regional healthcare system to secure full-time, dedicated nursing professionals for their inpatient services division. We are currently seeking compassionate Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) Registered Nurses (RNs) to join their clinical team. This hospital-based position is ideal for an RN looking for a supportive environment that emphasizes excellent nurse-to-patient ratios, robust administrative backing, and a strong culture of teamwork and compassion. Tucked into a scenic Montana community known for an exceptional quality of life and outdoor recreation, this role provides an ideal balance of professional clinical development and personal lifestyle stability.
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, professional patient care utilizing the complete nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Provide comprehensive care for both pediatric and adult populations presenting with a broad scope of acute medical conditions or undergoing pre•and post-surgical procedures. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary professional teams, providers, the Acute Care Director, and the Charge Nurse to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Effectively communicate and interact with patients and their families, ensuring physical, emotional, and educational support while maintaining professional nursing standards. Act as a clinical leader on the floor by providing appropriate directional support to LPNs, CNAs, housekeeping staff, and dietary teams. Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely electronic health documentation reflecting patient status, treatment progression, and discharge coordination.
Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred).
Licensure:
Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Montana (or immediate compact/endorsement eligibility).
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications must be active or completed within 6 months of hire.
Experience:
There is no minimum experience requirement; previous experience in Medical/Surgical nursing or Pediatric nursing is preferred. New graduates or those transitioning specialties are encouraged to apply.
Core Skills:
Solid foundational knowledge of basic nursing principles and procedures, proficient IV insertion/management skills, and basic office/computer technical literacy.
