$60/hourly Mandatory Qualifications for This Job Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of Montana. Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required. Current
BLS/BCLS
Certification required. Experience caring for adult, orthopedic, pediatric, and mother/baby medical-surgical patients preferred. Knowledge of patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and discharge planning. Experience with Meditech EMR/EHR system preferred. Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills. Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts. Must meet traveler eligibility requirements; in-state travelers must reside more than 250 miles from the facility . Roles and Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in a Medical-Surgical setting. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Monitor patient conditions and report changes to physicians and interdisciplinary care teams. Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders and nursing standards. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Meditech electronic medical record system. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements. Respond effectively to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions. Support quality improvement initiatives and participate in patient care evaluations. Deliver care to diverse patient populations, including adult, pediatric, orthopedic, and mother/baby patients.
