36 hours/week Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13‑week travel assignment in Helena, MT. The RN will provide direct patient care in a Trauma Level I hospital environment , supporting diverse medical‑surgical patients. This role requires strong Med Surg experience, prior travel assignment experience, and flexibility to float between units. Requirements Minimum 2+ years of recent Med Surg RN experience Prior travel assignment experience required

Ratios:

1:5-6 Floating required: between medical floor and surg/onc units Proficiency with Epic EMR Certifications & Licenses Active RN license (Montana or Compact state) Current BLS certification (AHA required) Responsibilities Provide safe and effective nursing care to Med Surg patients Administer medications and treatments accurately Monitor patient status and respond to changes promptly Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR Float between medical and surgical/oncology units as needed Work Environment Trauma Level I hospital setting Requires adaptability, strong communication, and teamwork skills Patient population includes medically complex individuals
