  • Contract We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN)—ICU—for a 13-week day-shift travel contract in Helena, MT.
This assignment is ideal for an RN with strong critical care experience, advanced cardiac and respiratory management skills, and the ability to care for high-acuity patients in a fast-paced intensive care unit.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill ICU patients using the Nursing Process Manage patients with respiratory failure, DKA, STEMI, CHF, overdose, detox, and complex post-operative surgical conditions Monitor hemodynamic status, cardiac rhythms, and respond to rapid clinical changes Administer critical care medications, treatments, and interventions Float to Medical-Surgical units as needed based on staffing and census Serve as a resource and assist with precepting new graduate nurses when needed Other assigned duties by supervisor
Required Qualifications:
Active MT-state RN license or Compact RN license Minimum 3+ years of ICU RN experience Prior travel nursing experience required Epic EMR experience preferred Experience caring for high-acuity critical care patients Precepting new graduate RNs highly preferred Required Certifications (must be American Heart Association):
BLS ACLS PALS NIHSS
