Job Description
Overview:
- We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in specimen collection processing, discharge planning, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in various healthcare settings
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Perform specimen collection processing and ensure accurate labeling
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct patient assessments and provide education on health conditions
- Assist in discharge planning and coordination of post-discharge care
Experience:
- The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems
- Knowledge of ICD-9 coding and documentation practices
- Experience with Botulinum toxin treatment administration
- Ability to perform aseptic techniques during procedures
- Familiarity with inhalation therapy for respiratory conditions
