Job Description

TITLE:
Nurse Anesthesia Specialist
LOCATION

Qualifications:
Must have current nursing license in Montana. Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program. Current certification as a nurse anesthetist from the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (or equivalent). Current BLS and ACLS certification required. 1-2 years of experience, as independent work and block procedures are part of the role.
Hours and Compensation:
Full-time position with a schedule of 2 weeks on and 1 week off (typically 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm) with rotating night and weekend call. Call schedule is every other day and every other weekend. Compensation ranges from $236K-$300K plus full benefits, relocation/sign-on package, retention bonuses, education reimbursement, and temporary housing.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and indirect anesthesia care for perioperative, obstetrical, pain management, and other services. Utilize the nursing process to assess patient needs and develop/implement anesthetic care plans. Demonstrate critical thinking skills to ensure safe and high-quality patient care. Manage pain relief, CPR, pulmonary care, and critically ill patients. Collaborate with healthcare team members and adhere to standards and regulations.
Additional Information:
Our facility includes a 25-bed critical access hospital and extended care facility. We have a supportive team environment with Ortho Surgeons, general surgeons, OB providers, Podiatrist on staff, and visiting ENT and Urology specialists. CRNAs work independently and must be proficient in block procedures with at least 1-2 years of experience.
