ASAP Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Missoula, Montana. This position will primarily support an inpatient hospice unit, with occasional in-home hospice visits based on patient census and operational needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing compassionate end-of-life care and supporting patients and families through every stage of the hospice journey. Key Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care to hospice patients with a focus on comfort, dignity, and symptom management Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders Perform ongoing patient assessments and develop appropriate nursing interventions Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding disease progression, symptom management, and care plans Collaborate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, CNAs, and other interdisciplinary team members Supervise and support CNAs to ensure quality patient care Complete accurate and timely documentation using Homecare Homebase (HCHB) Maintain compliance with hospice regulations, policies, and patient safety standards Requirements Active Montana RN License or Compact RN License Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Hospice, Palliative Care, Critical Care, or Medical-Surgical Nursing Current BLS Certification Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills Ability to work both day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays as required #HospiceRN #HospiceNurse #RegisteredNurse #RNJobs #TravelNurse #ContractNurse #PalliativeCare #EndOfLifeCare #HospiceCare #NursingJobs #HealthcareJobs #TravelHealthcare #MontanaNurse #MissoulaMT #MissoulaJobs #HiringNow #ApplyToday #RNContract #NurseRecruiter #NurseLife #HealthcareCareers #HomeHealthNurse #CompassionateCare #PatientCare #QuickStart #
