40 Hours per Week Job Description We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at a Critical Access Hospital in Polson, Montana. The RN will provide perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical services including Pre-Op, Operating Room, PACU, and Endoscopy. Candidates must be comfortable working in a small, highly collaborative environment and following patients through the full surgical process from admission to discharge. Responsibilities Circulate a variety of surgical procedures. Provide patient care in Pre-Op, OR, PACU, and Endoscopy departments. Monitor patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. Administer medications, blood products, and conscious sedation monitoring as appropriate. Perform patient assessments and ensure compliance with surgical safety protocols. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams. Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR. Participate in on-call rotation and weekend coverage as required. Float within Surgical Services based on department needs. Required Qualifications Active Montana RN License or Compact RN License. Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience. Current BLS Certification. Current ACLS Certification. PALS Certification. Experience circulating C-Sections (Required - Hard Stop). Experience in Critical Access Hospital settings strongly preferred. Epic EMR experience required. First-time travelers accepted. Surgical Specialties General Surgery Orthopedics
