Qualifications:

Current, active RN license (unencumbered) Prior experience in PACU and/or PreOp environments Strong assessment, critical thinking, and emergency response skills Proficiency in IV initiation, monitoring sedation levels, and managing post-surgical patients BLS and ACLS certifications required Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams and patients

Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for surgery, including assessments, medication administration, and education Monitor and care for patients emerging from anesthesia, ensuring vital signs stability and comfort Rapidly identify and respond to changes in patient condition using established protocols Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment for all patients This contract position is suited for nurses who are adaptable, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure.
