Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic healthcare environment providing expert care as a Med Surg Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract. This position offers a robust 36-hour workweek (three 12-hour shifts), with day shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Schedule flexibility is important, as the specific days worked may vary. The 20-bed floor provides an excellent setting for seasoned nurses looking to make a positive impact.
Required Schedule:
3 x 12-hour day shifts per week (7a-7p) 36 guaranteed hours weekly Days scheduled will vary Can be placed on call up to two times during the contract period, as part of the 36-hour schedule Ideal candidates bring a wealth of experience and a commitment to quality patient outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
Active RN license with strong Med Surg experience Minimum of 3 years as an RN in Med/Surg or similar acute care settings At least two completed travel nursing contracts Experience in a Critical Access Hospital is preferred Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS recommended (discussion possible) Adaptability and problem-solving skills for a smaller hospital setting
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based nursing care in a Med Surg environment Assess, plan, and implement patient care plans Collaborate and communicate with interdisciplinary teams Manage patient flow efficiently and prioritize high-quality care in a 20-bed unit Accurately document clinical activities and updates In addition to the professional growth and variety that comes from travel assignments, this contract welcomes you into an inclusive team environment where your expertise will be valued.
