About Facility:
Albemarle, NC (about an hour from Charlotte, NC) 109 Licensed Beds No Trauma Designation Not a Teaching Hospital- no residents/students Advanced Primary Stroke Center Radius rule: Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit

2 years ED RN experience (Resource Team requirement) Will you accept a first-time traveler? Not preferred- will consider
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
Pediatric and Adult COPD, CHF, Chest Pain, MI, N-STEMI, Stroke, TIA, new onset cardiac arrhythmia, uncontrolled DM, minor traumaPatient Ratios:
RN:
1:4-5, based on acuityRequired Licensure & Certifications:
RN:
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI
- required; TNCC (preferred) Skills required: General ED skillset
- Cardiac rhythm interpretation, experience with critical care drips, vent management, chest tubes, PIV starts, TNK/TPA administration, conscious sedation, Client Assessments, etc.
Department:
CNA Charge nurse: may or may not have patient assignmentIV/VAT Team:
Ancillary dept, but not in house every dayRT, 24/7
Hospitalist, 24/7ED Physician Team Bedside and Central Tele Monitoring Technology/Equipment:

Phillips Unit specific equipment: General med-surg equipment and tele monitorsFloating:
Will be required to float per region needs- will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice
