Job Description

BrightStar Care of Cary (franchisee) Overview We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a homecare staffing specialist. This role involves coordinating and providing exceptional nursing care for diverse patient cases in a home setting. We partner with local hospitals to provide, assessments, IV therapy, Injections, IV push, walk studies, lab draw to various patients int eh greater raleigh durham area- our average RN time n the home is 45minutes and the average pay for that is 85-95 bucks per visit- Duties Assess patient needs through detailed evaluation of medical history, vital signs, and physiological data to develop personalized care plans. Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders and established protocols, including medication administration, wound management, and diagnostic evaluation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate discharge planning, case management, and utilization management while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. Monitor patient progress through ongoing assessment and documentation in medical records; adjust care plans as necessary to meet evolving needs. Educate patients and their families on health management strategies, medication adherence, and safety precautions within the home environment. Maintain high standards of infection control and safety practices during all patient interactions. Requirements Valid RN license with current registration in the state of practice. Extensive clinical experience in critical care settings such as ICU, Level I Trauma Centers, or emergency rooms. Proven background in hospital medicine, medical-surgical units, or outpatient clinics with post-acute care exposure. Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Pay:
$55.00 - $110.00 per hour
