Primary Qualifications:
Active RN license, valid in NC or compact state At least 1 year of recent Stepdown or Progressive Care/PCU nursing experience BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills Adaptable approach with excellent communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to diverse patient populations on Stepdown/PCU units Monitor patient condition, administer medications, and respond rapidly to emergent changes Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement and update care plans Educate patients and families regarding treatments, conditions, and discharge planning Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with facility protocols
