Urgent Care Schedule:
PRN, As Needed. May work at the Canton or Waynesville location. More about our tea m Join our Urgent Care Team consisting of 2 Providers, Registered Nurse (RN), Rad Tech and Lab Assistant. We are a walk-in clinic that treats injuries or illnesses requiring immediate care, but not serious enough to require an ER visit.Hours of operation:
7 days a week, 8:00am-6:30pm. This position offers the opportunity to care for the needs of our community and helps offload the ER so that they can care for emergent patients. How you'll contribute A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:- Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
- Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
- Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
- Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
- Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient

//www.myhaywoodregional.com/locations/haywood-regional-health-fitness-center What we're looking for Applicants should have a current North Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.Additional requirements include:
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
- AHA ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
- One year of experience preferred
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
