As a PRN Nurse at BlueDot Cares, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our clients in the comfort of their homes. Client Assessment and Care Planning Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' healthcare needs, collaborating with clients and their families to develop personalized care plans. Create and update care plans based on the evolving needs of clients. Perform 90 day followups on all active clients. Caregiver Orientation and Competency Evaluation Participate in new caregiver orientation. Help evaluate caregiver competencies. Monitoring and Observation Monitor clients' health status, recognizing any changes and promptly reporting concerns to the healthcare team. Provide ongoing observation to ensure a safe and comfortable home environment. Education and Support Educate clients and their families on health management, preventive care, and self-care techniques. Offer emotional support and guidance to clients and families facing health challenges. Communication Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, their families, and other healthcare team members. Document all care provided accurately and in a timely manner. Collaboration Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including therapists and care coordinators, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care. Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to enhance overall care quality. Requirements Current and valid nursing license in North Carolina. Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, with a focus on home care or a related healthcare setting. Home care experience preferred. Strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to a variety of patient needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
