Schedule:

36 hours/week Weekend rotation: every other Possibility of low census call (with specific call-back windows) Holiday coverage: 75% of holidays Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

Active RN license Minimum 18 months of PCU/Stepdown RN experience

Certifications:

BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation, tracheostomy care, cardiac drips, wound care, central line management, chest tubes, and blood product administration Comfortable floating within regional hospitals (must be agreeable to floating as needed)

Your Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive stepdown-level nursing care for a wide range of conditions - cardiac, neuro, respiratory, infectious, and more Independently interpret cardiac rhythms and administer cardiac medications Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including CNAs, respiratory therapists, hospitalists, intensivists, and IV teams Utilize EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell meds, and Phillips monitors Perform essential nursing procedures, including dressing changes and central line management Float between regionally-associated facilities as needed for optimal patient care coverage
