PNP should function independently in private office setting in collaboration with 5 other providers. Clinic provides Well Care and Sick Visits for Newborns to 20 years. Emphasis on preventative care, health promotion, vaccination compliance and illness/injury prevention. Provider will be on a rotating schedule for a "Saturday morning clinic hours". Bilingual English/Spanish speaking individual a plus. Candidate must be friendly with children and caregivers. The clinic has a very friendly environment, great culture, wonderful co-workers who work well as a team with low turnover. Essential Functions:
Provides assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, referral, and follow-up for a shared panel of patients. Recommends screenings and tests based on patients' needs Manages health care within protocols mutually agreed upon by head physician and team members Identifies abnormal findings early and initiates appropriate intervention Manages acute illnesses and chronic medications.
Educational Requirements & Certifications:
Masters in PNP (Pediatric Nurse Practitioner) or NP (Nurse Practitioner) Previous pediatric practice experience is a plus; we will provide additional training. PNP or NP Certification in North Carolina DEA License Current NP License in
