About Facility:
920 Church St N, Concord, NC 28025 457 licensed beds
Trauma Level III Teaching Hospital Chest Pain Center Stroke Center of Excellence Bariatric Center of Excellence Unit Information:
Beds:
14 private rooms, including two negative pressure rooms Minimum Years of Experience required 2 years Critical Care (Resource Team requirement) Will you accept a first-time traveler Not preferred but will consider (Resource Team)
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
STEMI (unstable), cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, thoracic surgery CT Surgery to include
CABG, Valve, Dissection Patient Ratios:
RN:
1:2 Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or
Insurance:
RN:
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
(Resource Team requirement) Skills required: Management of vasoactive medications, various surgical drains, chest tubes, ventilators, CRRT Invasive lines, including arterial lines, PA catheters, transvenous pacemakers Management of invasive devices, including IABP, Impella (flexible on devices 8/25/25-strongly preferred) Support within the
Department:
Charge nurse may or may not have patient assignment IV/VAT Team? yes RT 24/7 Intensivist 24/7 (unit based)

Scheduling:
Weekend rotation: every other No call
Holiday Expectations:
Travelers will work 75% of holidays
RTO:
Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours Shift times: 0645-1915 and 1845
