1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital, requiring 2 years of MS/Tele experience and active Epic proficiency. Details Short-term acute care hospital with 733 staffed beds, designated as a Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit with a behavioral health component Patient ratio of 1:5-6 Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Every other weekend required Floating within scope required to meet facility needs, including potential float to sister campuses Block scheduling is not available Charting system: Epic (experience required) No on-call requirement Requirements Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand — pending licenses are not accepted Current BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of MS/Tele experience required Epic EMR experience required SSN and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the main campus to be eligible Pre-start orientation modules are required (estimated 4-10 hours) Royal blue and white scrubs required RTO is limited to a maximum of 4 days per assignment, subject to manager discretion Only 1 holiday off can be approved per assignment Travelers who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler On night shift, travelers may extend up to twice before being required to leave for at least 6 months before returning 13-week assignment
