Key Qualifications:
Active RN license Minimum of one year recent experience in a Telemetry nursing role Proficient with cardiac monitoring and interpreting telemetry strips Strong assessment and critical thinking skills BLS and ACLS certifications required Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring in the telemetry unit Monitor and interpret patient cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately Document all patient observations and care activities accurately Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and assess individualized care plans Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and ongoing care needs Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and best practices
