This regional medical center is a well-established healthcare facility that provides comprehensive cardiovascular services to the community. The cardiology department features a 38-bed unit with a strong team of cardiologists and robust support systems for advanced practice providers.Opportunity:
Advanced Practice- Nurse Practitioner
- Cardiology, Physician Assistant
Cardiology Job Details:
- Provide inpatient cardiology support working alongside a strong team of cardiologists
- Complete daily inpatient rounding and consultations for cardiology patients
- Handle 10-12 patient encounters per shift in a 38-bed cardiology department
- Must have previous locum tenens experience in an inpatient cardiology capacity
- Cerner EMR experience is required
- Schedule includes Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM with occasional weekends
- Must maintain active North Carolina license and North Carolina DEA only
- BLS certification required
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
- Multiple positions available (2-3 providers needed)
