JOB SUMMARY
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Aesthetics is the clinical cornerstone of Graystone Eye's Aesthetics Center, responsible for delivering an exceptional patient experience across a full suite of cosmetic and medical aesthetics services. This role blends advanced clinical expertise with a consultative, relationship-driven approach that reflects the Graystone Eye standard: personalized care, natural results, and a commitment to long-term patient wellbeing. Working in close collaboration with oculoplastic physician oversight, aesthetician staff, and practice leadership, the NP - Aesthetics will serve as both a skilled clinician and an active contributor to the growth and reputation of the Aesthetics Center. The ideal candidate brings confidence in the treatment room, a genuine passion for aesthetic medicine, and the drive to build a thriving book of business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Clinical Services Conduct thorough aesthetic consultations, develop individualized treatment plans, and manage ongoing patient relationships with a focus on long-term outcomes and retention Administer neurotoxin injections for cosmetic and therapeutic indications including hyperhidrosis and brow ptosis Perform dermal filler treatments across facial regions (lips, cheeks, jawline, tear trough, and others) using FDA-approved products, with a commitment to natural, harmonious results Conduct chemical peel treatments and supervise aesthetician-administered skin care services Prescribe and manage medical-grade skincare regimens, cosmeceuticals, and adjunct therapeutic protocols Perform or coordinate laser, IPL, and energy-based device treatments per credentialed scope Deliver thorough pre- and post-treatment education; manage follow-up and touch-up appointments proactively Identify, manage, and appropriately escalate adverse events or complications with sound clinical judgment Participate in the development and delivery of a structured medical weight loss program, including patient evaluation, protocol development, treatment initiation, and ongoing monitoring Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the EHR system in accordance with practice and regulatory standards Program Growth and Patient Experience Deliver every consultation at the Graystone Eye standard - unhurried, personalized, and anchored in honest clinical guidance Take ownership of the Aesthetics Center patient base: drive new patient acquisition, strengthen retention, and cultivate referral relationships Participate in promotional events, patient appreciation activities, and community outreach that elevate the Aesthetics Center profile Contribute to social media content and digital marketing efforts in a manner consistent with the Graystone Eye brand Partner with practice leadership and operations to optimize scheduling efficiency, service mix, and revenue per visit Monitor patient satisfaction data and proactively address service gaps or experience breakdowns Compliance and Quality Practice within the scope of applicable North Carolina NP regulations and collaborative practice agreement requirements Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and all applicable regulatory standards Participate in quality improvement initiatives and outcome tracking for the aesthetics program Complete required continuing medical education and maintain current licensure and DEA registration
QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of an accredited Master of Science in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice program Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner licensure in the State of North Carolina Current national certification (ANCC or AANP) Current DEA registration or ability to obtain prior to start date
BLS/ACLS
certification Demonstrated proficiency with neurotoxin and dermal filler administration
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
One (1) or more years of experience in a dedicated medical aesthetics or cosmetic dermatology practice as a primary injector and treatment provider Proficiency with energy-based devices (laser, IPL, radiofrequency microneedling, or similar modalities) Interest in and experience with medical weight loss program development, including familiarity with GLP-1 receptor agonist therapies and comprehensive weight management protocols Established patient following or referral network in the Western North Carolina region Demonstrated track record of practice growth through consultative selling, patient retention, and community engagement Active presence on social media platforms relevant to medical aesthetics with a professional, brand-consistent approach
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Mastery of neurotoxin and dermal filler injection technique with a consistent, outcomes-focused aesthetic eye Exceptional consultative and interpersonal skills; ability to convert consultations, retain patients, and generate referrals organically Comfortable managing a high-volume schedule without compromising the personalized experience each patient expects Business-minded with a genuine interest in the revenue performance, growth trajectory, and market positioning of the Aesthetics Center Proficiency with electronic health records; experience with NextGen preferred Collaborative team member who operates with integrity, accountability, and a service-first mindset
MEDICAL/IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS
Tuberculosis Screening:
This position requires direct patient contact. The employee must complete baseline TB screening and testing upon hire, followed by an annual TB symptom evaluation.
Hepatitis B:
The duties of this position may involve exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials. The employee must complete a Hepatitis B status form and provide one of the following: Documentation of completed vaccination and immunity; Consent to receive the vaccination series and/or titer; or A signed vaccination declination form.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Clinical office environment with standard aesthetics suite equipment Primarily seated or standing during treatment delivery Occasional evening or Saturday availability may be required to meet patient demand Potential exposure to laser and light-based equipment; appropriate safety protocols in place
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods during procedures Manual dexterity sufficient for precise injection and treatment delivery Visual acuity adequate for clinical assessment and documentation
