Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - EP Job Type Contract Play a vital role in advanced cardiac care by bringing your expertise as a Registered Nurse to a dynamic Electrophysiology (EP) Lab team. In this position, you'll support complex cardiac procedures, collaborate with highly skilled professionals, and ensure top-tier patient outcomes in an innovative clinical environment.
Qualifications:
Active RN license with eligibility to practice Minimum of 1 year experience in EP Lab or Cardiac Cath Lab preferred Proficient in assisting with EP studies, device implants, and ablations Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required Comprehensive understanding of ECG interpretation and cardiac rhythms Excellent organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized nursing care during electrophysiology procedures, including device implantation, mapping, and ablation Monitor, assess, and document patient vitals and responses throughout procedures Anticipate and assist physicians with equipment and supply needs Educate patients and families on procedure details, post-operative expectations, and follow-up care Ensure strict adherence to aseptic technique and patient safety protocols Support the EP Lab team in preparing equipment and maintaining a sterile field Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions
