This travel nursing assignment specifically seeks professionals with expertise in Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) environments. You'll actively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and be a vital part of a growing community committed to exceptional care.
Desired Qualifications:
Current, active RN license Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Stepdown or PCU settings BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred) Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment EPIC or similar EMR experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care for higher acuity cases in the Stepdown/PCU Monitor, assess, and promptly respond to changes in patient conditions Coordinate and implement treatment and care plans Administer medications and manage advanced IV therapies Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and support staff Participate in patient and family education, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary rounds Maintain thorough and accurate documentation
