Schedule/Hours:
Shifts as scheduled per assignment (details to be discussed)
Qualifications:
RN license, active and in good standing Minimum 1 year of pediatric critical care experience (2 years preferred) At least one completed travel assignment required
Certifications:
BLS, PALS
required Expertise in managing common ICU drips (heparin, insulin, cardiac) Competence in telemetry monitoring Strong communication skills; thrives in a collaborative, all-hands-on-deck environment
Responsibilities:
Deliver focused post-anesthesia and critical care to pediatric patients (ages 0-17), occasionally assisting with adult cases based on unit needs Monitor and manage patients recovering from a variety of surgical procedures Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including transporters, PACU educators, dedicated charge nurses, and on-site anesthesia Engage with Epic EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell med dispensing, and Philips monitoring systems
