Key Qualifications:
Active, unencumbered RN license At least one year of recent experience in a psychiatric/behavioral health setting Proficiency in assessment, crisis intervention, and medication administration for psychiatric patients Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care BLS certification (required), CPI or similar crisis prevention training (preferred)
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and deliver individualized care plans Administer medications safely and monitor for therapeutic responses and side effects Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers, therapists, and other clinical staff Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and coping strategies Maintain thorough, accurate medical records and documentation Contribute to maintaining a therapeutic, safe and recovery-oriented environment
