Job Description

Registered Nurse - Contract - PICU. Provide critical care to pediatric patients in a 13‑week assignment in Huntersville, North Carolina. Earn up to $3,100 per week with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high‑quality pediatric ICU nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients, ensuring safety, comfort, and compliance with protocols. Administer medications, perform invasive procedures, and manage ventilators, specialty equipment, and monitors using advanced technology such as EPIC, Belmont Rapid Infuser, and Artic Sun. Monitor and evaluate patient conditions continuously, utilizing bedside and centralized monitoring systems, and document findings accurately within the EMR system. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and support staff, to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Maintain flexibility by floating to Pediatric CVICU, NICU, Neonatal PCU, or general Pediatrics units as needed, ensuring seamless patient care across departments.
Qualifications:
Valid nursing degree (ASN, BSN, or higher). Current BLS and PALS certifications. Valid North Carolina RN license or eligibility to obtain. Minimum of 1 year of pediatric ICU experience. Ability to float to Pediatric CVICU, NICU, Neonatal PCU, and general Pediatrics units. Physical stamina. Excellent communication skills. Team player attitude.
Preferred Skills:
Previous travel experience preferred.
