Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - EP Job Type Contract Elevate your nursing career by specializing in electrophysiology as a Registered Nurse in a dynamic EP Lab setting. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional care to cardiac patients, utilizing advanced technology and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team focused on patient outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted RN license Previous recent experience in an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab environment Comprehensive knowledge of cardiac rhythms, EP studies, and ablation procedures BLS and ACLS certifications (required) Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist physicians during electrophysiology procedures including mapping, ablations, and device implantation Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, documenting accurate patient data Provide pre- and post-procedural care and education to patients and families Administer medications and manage IV therapies in a high-acuity setting Maintain infection control standards and ensure patient safety throughout procedures Collaborate with EP Lab technologists, physicians, and support staff to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient care
