Full Job Description What We Offer:
You're looking for a supportive team, and meaningful work focused in Ambulatory Surgery Center. Join Novant Health's ASU where you'll work alongside a close-knit team dedicated to caring for patients during some of life's most important moments.

Leland Surgery Center- Leland, NC Schedule :
Full time 6:30am-2:30pm
Department:
Leland Ambulatory Surgery Center Prior OR or PACU experience required for this position
What We're Looking For:
Education :
2 Year / Associate Degree, required. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
Experience :
One year of ASC, PACU or operating room experience, preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. ACLS and PALS, preferred. Additional Skills (required): Must have a thorough understanding of role of RN and the ability to carry out the functions as stated in the appropriate relevant state nurse practice act. Ability to set priorities and organize workload of unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient's age. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Proficient in telephone screening and interviewing skills.
What You'll Do:
Scrub and Circulate for Outpatient Surgical procedures Support patients through General, Ortho GYN, Urology, Plastics, ENT and Podiatry surgical procedures. Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical techs Advocate for patients and ensure a smooth perioperative experience
