Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in Emergency Room care to provide exceptional support and patient care in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract opportunity offers a structured, supportive setting where advanced clinical skills and team-oriented professionals can thrive.
Schedule/Hours:
12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week Shift time: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Every other weekend rotation No on-call or call-back requirements Expectation to work approximately 75% of scheduled holidays
Qualifications:
Valid and unrestricted RN license Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a high-volume Emergency Department ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required Excellent triage, critical assessment, and emergency intervention skills Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs and acuity levels Comfortable floating within designated hospital regions and affiliated
Emergency Departments Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients experiencing medical emergencies, injuries, and acute illnesses Conduct thorough patient assessments, coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, and implement evidence-based interventions Accurately document observations, treatment plans, and patient responses in electronic medical records Provide patient and family education regarding treatments, medications, and discharge instructions Maintain a safe and efficient care environment, adhering to all hospital policies and regulatory standards Demonstrate flexibility in floating to multiple facilities across the specified region as needed
